The year 2007 will be the International Year of Solidarity with the Saharawi People.
Within this framework, a conference of international solidarity will be held in Tifariti (the liberated areas of Western Sahara) from the 24th to the 28th of February. This event will coincide with the commemoration of the 31st anniversary of the proclamation of the Saharawi Republic and the annual Sahara Marathon.
